Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas obtained abroad

 

Candidates who have obtained final high school or college diplomas in an European country other than Romania, must obtain the equivalence of studies from the National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED) within the Ministry of Education and research (MEC), which will recognise the studies done abroad and will issue a Certificate of Recognition.

 2.   personal identification document and proof of legal change or name (if it is applicable) – copy;

3.   study document to be recognized:

  • copy, if the study document is issued in Romania, English, French, Spanish or Italian;
  • copy and certified translation in Romanian (PDF document with qualified electronic signature of the notary who performed the legalization), for the documents issued in other languages;

4.   academic transcript:

  • copy, if the study document is issued in Romania, English, French, Spanish or Italian;
  • copy and certified translation in Romanian (PDF document with qualified electronic signature of the notary who performed the legalization), for the documents issued in other languages;
