IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

ADMISSION – UNIVERSITY OF CRAIOVA

FOR THE ATTENTION OF ROMANIAN ETHNIC CANDIDATES

The admission platform is designed so that the allocation of state-funded/tuition-fee places is carried out according to the candidates’ grades and the options selected in the application form. Therefore:

  • If a candidate wishes to obtain only a state-funded place with scholarship, they must select only state-funded places with scholarship and include in the application form, in order of preference, only study programmes with scholarship.
  • If a candidate wishes to obtain only a tuition-fee place, they must select only tuition-fee places and include in the application form, in order of preference, only tuition-fee study programmes.
  • If a candidate wishes to obtain either a state-funded place with scholarship or a state-funded place without scholarship, they must include in the application form both categories of study programmes, in order of preference. The computerized allocation will be made according to the admission average grade.
    (For example: if a candidate primarily wishes to obtain a state-funded place with scholarship, the order in the application form should be:
    1. Study programme X, Y… – state-funded with scholarship;
    2. Study programme X, Y… – state-funded without scholarship;
      followed by the other study programmes in the desired order.)

Education for Romanian ethnics within the Romanian state higher education system, on study places exempt from tuition fees, either with scholarship or without scholarship, for the academic year 2026–2027.

The category of Romanian ethnics includes:

a) persons belonging to Romanian national minorities, linguistic minorities, or indigenous ethnic Romanian groups, or persons belonging to the Romanian cultural and ethnic heritage living in neighboring countries or other states, who assume their Romanian ethnic, linguistic, and cultural identity before the Romanian authorities, regardless of the ethnonym used;

b) emigrated Romanians, regardless of whether they retained Romanian citizenship or not, their descendants, as well as Romanian citizens with permanent residence or domicile abroad;
